NN Bank Domain Architect Savings, Investments & Bancassurance

As the Domain architect for the Savings, Investments & Bancassurance (SI&BA) department you are part of the Enterprise Architecture team of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank. In this role you ensure that our strategy is translated into future proof solutions.

What are you going to do?

You will continue to develop and align the architecture for the SI&BA domain. Your work requires a clear vision of our IT landscape and how it supports our customers and business needs. Therefore, understanding our business is also a key aspect of your role. For this purpose, you will collaborate with the product lead, product developers, marketeers and tech leads. You will also work closely with your colleagues in the bank architecture community. Together, you will secure seamless integration and alignment to enable a uniform and personalized digital customer experience. In addition, you will:

• Design and maintain the technology architecture for the department
• Create technology roadmaps and ensure that they are aligned with the organisations goals and objectives
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges
• Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to ensure that the architecture is integrated and cohesive
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend ways to leverage them to improve the company's systems and processes
• Ensure that the architecture complies with industry standards and best practices

Who you are

You are challenged by driving the development of UX-driven architectures in complex, highly-regulated environments. Harnessing your communication skills, you know how to convey your vision and inspire and convince colleagues and vendors to deliver the best solution for our internal en external customers. Never losing sight of the bigger picture, you are keen to collaborate to achieve our objectives. In addition, you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Proven experience as a Domain Architect or a similar rol
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience in designing and implementing complex technology solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other architects and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A good command of spoken and written English, as you’ll be working in an international team. Some command of Dutch would stand you in good stead when communication with your Dutch colleagues
