What you are going to do
As a Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our change portfolio processes. Within Group IT we follow an OKR cadence, setting objectives at the beginning of the year and reviewing them quarterly to ensure alignment and progress. You will support employees by realizing the change portfolio, foster collaboration and effectively carry out the change portfolio delivery cycle. Your efforts will ensure that our change portfolio data is managed accurately, and that our processes are continuously improved to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and guide activities in adopting practices and principles concerning the strategic OKRs
- Align processes and teams to foster collaboration and contribute effectively to change portfolio delivery
- Coach colleagues and inform relevant parties about process improvements or adapting new tools
- Maintain and evaluate processes to notice shortcomings and adapt/improve where needed
- Collect, assess, and process data enabling management or other stakeholders
- Adapt and improve tools and processes to enhance organizational success

Who you will work with
You will be part of the SA&PM department within Group IT. SA&PM stands for Strategy, Architecture & Portfolio Management, and it is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, architectural standards, and change portfolio management processes within Group IT. Group IT is dedicated to providing innovative and efficient IT solutions that support the overall business objectives of the organization.
In your role, you will work closely with the Portfolio Manager. While the Portfolio Manager focuses on strategic goals, selection, and prioritization (investment decisions – meaning the content side), the Portfolio Delivery Manager ensures the seamless execution and delivery of these change portfolios, with a strong emphasis on the process and the people side. This function further strengthens the change portfolio processes and cadence of Group IT.
Additionally, a good collaboration is expected with the Product Managers, Product Owners and the Project and/or Program Managers within Group IT. These managers are the leads for the delivery of strategic change initiatives. Their role is crucial in ensuring that the strategic goals set by the Portfolio Manager are translated into actionable plans and successfully executed. By working closely with these managers, you will help to align the strategic vision with practical implementation, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This collaborative approach is essential for driving continuous improvement and achieving the overall objectives of Group IT.
At NN, we work hybrid. Partly from home and partly in the office (2 days a week). Teams meet digitally, physically, or hybrid. You and your team decide what works best. Our offices are set up to provide a suitable place for every type of work. The official location for this position is The Hague.
