Reinsurance Portfolio Manager – NN Re

What you are going to do

As portfolio Manager, your main responsibilities lie in the field of portfolio- and claim management in the areas of Life and Non- Life Reinsurance, servicing all Business Units of NN Group. As such you are a linking pin within the organization. You will work in close cooperation with four other portfolio managers in the team as well as the account managers. Next to this you will work closely together with other teams within NN Re as well as our internal Business Units and external parties such as Reinsurers and Brokers. 

• Handling incoming reinsurance claims from clients and also recovering claims from external reinsurers (retrocession)
• Run off claims management and commutations/novations
• Administrate and process monthly reports from internal Business Units for internal processing as well as retrocession (both claims and premiums, commission, profit commission statements etc.) for Life, Non-life, and Pension funds
• Prepare and review contract wordings
• Monitor and update statistical overviews for internal and external clients and prepare renewal packs
• Review monthly performance reports from our clients (claims, premiums, commission, etc)
• Manage facultative covers
• Perform business partner due diligence
• Administrative tasks linked to the finalization of contracts (signatures, registration, internal reporting, etc.)

• Salary between €3,415 and €5,675 depending on your knowledge and experience (hay level 15 or 16). This is based on a 36-hour work week.

• You have experienced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power BI
• You have a bachelor degree and 5 years of relevant work experience (insurance and/or reinsurance)
