introAs a Data Platform Engineer at Data Factory Platform team within Risk Department of NN Bank, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data platform solutions on Azure cloud using tools like Azure ADLS, Azure Databricks, ADF, and Terraform.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions that align with business requirements.
Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Deploy and configure virtual machines, containers, serverless resources, and networking components in Azure
Implement security measures, access controls, and compliance requirements in the cloud environment
Automation and Orchestration: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like ARM templates, Terraform. Automate deployment processes, resource provisioning, and configuration management
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting for Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and availability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, resource utilization issues, and scalability challenges
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, identity management, and data protection mechanisms. Stay up to date with Azure security features and industry compliance standards

You are a passionate data engineer with a strong background in Azure cloud services, and you have the right mindset to always keep learning and improving. You are a real team player with a hands-on attitude and flexibility to deal with changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure services, virtual networks, storage solutions, and security mechanisms
Strong experience in designing and building data platform solutions on Azure cloud using tools like Azure ADLS, Azure Databricks, ADF and Terraform
Good to have: Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer are preferred
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes and strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Spark

The data factory which is the central DWH for formal reporting in the bank
The FRT lake in which contains Treasury, WoonNu mortgages & general finance & risk sources
Model factory that provides a platform for model development (ML)
Calm/PX that run vendor applications on Azure cloud and Kubernetes
You will be bridge between NN Group-IT and above-mentioned teams and will work on cost saving measures and bringing in more standardization. You will also work closely together with security and non-financial risk teams to ensure the infrastructure is secure and compliant to regulation. You bring more automation in this area for regular monitoring of the platform.
And finally, you will closely together with the central platform teams withing that provide generic services like CDAAS & NN Data Analytics platform. You will be part of the data engineering guild where you can meet, learn from and collaborate with data engineers across many departments of NN-Group.
