(Senior) Balance Sheet Manager

What you are going to do

Within the BSM & Reinsurance team, you are the strategic advisor of the Management Team of NN Leven on numerous topics related to the performance and risk profile of NN Leven its balance sheet. Together with your BSM & Reinsurance colleagues you are at the heart of capital and liquidity management, balance sheet optimization and reinsurance, how exciting is that? Topics the team covers are amongst others, asset-liability management, capital projections, hedging strategies of various market risks, defining the strategic asset allocation, reinsurance (managing existing and set-up of new covers) and supporting growth initiatives and pricing.

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible to grasp all of the finesses of the balance sheet of NN and its risk profile to identify and explain the key developments and advice on further optimizations possibilities for the Management Team of NN Leven and NN Group
• Specifically this role will emphasize on (solvency) forecasting, dividend planning and balance sheet assessments, which plays a significant role in the strategic objectives of our team, including internal and external stakeholder management
• Depending on your interest and expertise, you will also be invited in supporting/leading on the various other balance sheet management related topics

• Salary: Medior level:  between €4.686,- and €6.694,- based on 36 hours per week and depending on your knowledge and experience. Senior level; €5.597,- and €7.996,- based on 36 hours per week and depending on your knowledge and experience

• 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week and one Diversity Day

Who you are

• A Master degree in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience as a Balance sheet manager, ideally within the (Dutch) financial services or consultancy sector
• You combine strong analytical skills with a helicopter view
• You are capable to translate complex & detailed information to key management observations
• You are pro-active & decisive and willing to run the extra mile
• You are a great organizer and manager of deadlines
