Why our traineeship?

At NN, we help people care for what matters most to them. We do this by offering personal and relevant financial services. As a trainee at NN, you will contribute to this and help our company move forward in becoming ever more relevant to our customers. During the traineeship, you will get to know our organisation well and will be given all the space you need to find your place at NN. The combination of a personal approach, international opportunities and a good dose of fun makes our traineeship unique. How does the NN Group Traineeship work?

The traineeship starts annually on the 1st of September and consists of three rotations during which you will be working on challenging assignments. Applications for one of our two tracks open February 2023:

General Management: two rotations of six months and one of a year.
Finance & Risk: one rotation of a year and two rotations of six months.

Next to the rotations, you will follow a comprehensive personal development programme. During this programme, you will find out who you are, what you want and what your qualities are - you will be challenged to become the best version of yourself.

You will also take part in a variety of interesting events, such as lunch with the Management Board, Business Unit days and Networking events. In addition, our active NN Young Professional Network organises great activities such as the NN ski trip, pub quiz and conferences.

You and your fellow trainees are a tight-knit group that works hard, but that also makes time to have fun. At the end of your Traineeship, you will be part of a close group of friends that will last your entire career at NN. Does this spark your interest? Who are you?

Who you are, what motivates you and what you want to contribute to our organisation and society is important to us. You like to take the initiative and do not shy away from responsibility. Furthermore, you have obtained your Master’s degree before the start of your Traineeship on September 1^st.
