1. What do you like most about your work?

The best thing about my job is working with people. Everyone has their "own" way of working. In order to jointly pursue goals and realising them with those different ways of working is the best part of my job.

2. Where have you been on holiday last year and what do you think is the best way to take a holiday?

Last year we went on holiday with my family to Cuba. We did an ”individual” group tour in Cuba, which means that we had our own car towards hotels and casa’s that were pre-booked spread over the island. What you want to do and see, is up to you! That was fantastic!

3. What do you think is the biggest challenge in the job?

The biggest challenge in this job is to get risk management into the genes of the NN employees. Risk Management is not something that you do next to or as an add-on, but it should be part of everyone's daily work.

4. What can a new colleague expect from you?

A new colleague can expect to have the opportunity to share their own ideas / experiences in order to implement improvements in our processes and activities. Continuous improvement in quality or speed is essential to work more efficiently and effectively in a market that demands high quality at low costs.

5. How long have you worked at NN and what was your first position?

I have been working at NN since 1 October 2017 (started at Delta Lloyd). My first position (at Delta Lloyd) was comparable to the position I now fulfill. The big difference is that the number of countries in which NN is active is much larger than with former Delta Lloyd.
