Your impact as a Manager Human Capital Development

In this critical role you have the opportunity to create and maintain the strategic direction for Human Capital Development initiatives, activities and programs that support the execution of our HR business strategy. For example: talent management, leadership development, executive search & development and employee engagement are focus topics.

Your experience in collaborating with executives and business/HR leaders in the area of human development will be invaluable in this role.

Realistic results

From your own initiative and ambition, you achieve the best results:

  • Develop a NN International  (NNI) wide human capital development plan, process, guidelines and framework that enables the executives and business/HR leaders (on a country level) to align the business plans with right talents
  • Design of development programs for senior level target audiences within the company in line with business needs;
  • Establish solid partnership with external providers and manage their activity in the areas of executive search, market mapping for senior roles and assessment/development solutions
  • Develop an NNI wide Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and advise HRDs in driving local initiatives
  • Deploy customized  NN group driven human capital development initiatives in NNI and advise on local implementation

As we work across so many different countries with their own cultures, it goes without saying that relevant business experience with different cultures and highly cultural awareness is necessary in order to successfully fulfill this interesting position.

Critical skills of a Manager Human Capital Development

You don’t settle for the obvious answer; you keep probing until you get to the heart of a matter. You have a Master level education in Business or Human Resources and have experience in working in an international and matrix driven environment. Your Proven international experience and expertise with all aspects of human capital development such as leadership development, employee engagement, talent management and executive search ensure you can stand on your own two feet and are not easily flustered when you encounter a challenge.

You have excellent social and communication skills in English; this is essential for managing your innovative HR projects, but also to ensure that you are well connected with the various stakeholders. Finally, persuasiveness, flexibility and creativity are essential traits for this challenging, dynamic position. Regular travel within Europe and occasionally travel to Japan is required.

Interviews

We are curious who you are, what motivates you and what you are looking for. But it is just as important that you get to know NN better. We aim for a maximum of two interviews in which you will meet the manager of the department, a direct colleague and a recruiter from NN.

Online assessment

The assessment consists of a personality test, a driver test and an intelligence test. We believe your personal qualities are very important and use this assessment to test whether you meet the NN Mindset. This will be an online test and the results will be shown  immediately.
