You will bring with you

  • Higher Education or University Degree; preferably a degree in Business & IT, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Informatics or similar
  • Experience in delivering change programs, preferably within the insurance industry and within the field of Finance

Central Change Officer

The Service & Change team of the Finance Service Centre (FSC) is responsible for managing customer relation, new services, change requests and performance management. The role of a Central Change Officer is to contribute to the Change agenda of the FSC.


Your impact as a Central Change Officer at NN

You will contribute to the Change agenda of the FSC and plan and effectuate prioritized Change projects within the Value Streams in alignment with the overall FSC ambition. As you actively cooperate with specialists in the implementation of prioritized Change projects, you make sure the end results meet standards of acceptability. You provide Project Management Expertise towards the Change projects within Value Stream and inform the Change Coordinator on project progress upon request. Furthermore, you assist the Change Coordinator on the Change portfolio and the status of ongoing Change projects and impact on needs of the customer. For monitoring, progress tracking and evaluation of Changes you use administration (tooling). As you maintain a solid understanding of the services provided by the FSC you keep track of all developments within the Value Streams. 


Realistic results

The main goal of the Central Change Officer is to plan and execute change programs in the Value Streams. These projects contribute to overall FSC goals such as:

  • Quality improvement of input delivered by customers and subsequently the first time right percentage of services provided by the FSC
  • A reduction in lead time and shortened deadlines of services provided by the FSC
  • Contribution to the overall ambition of the FSC to reduce direct costs
  • A steady and sustainable growth in customer satisfaction
  • Operational Excellence awareness embedded within the activities performed by the FSC
  • Improved employee engagement by creating an engaging place to work where people get the chance to encounter all aspects of finance

As a Central Change Officer, you will work from our beautiful office located in The Hague, which offers an easy connection via the A12. 

Due to the coronavirus, most of the NN colleagues work from home. At the moment it is unclear when we can return to the office. The official location for this position is The Hague.


Critical skills of a Central Change Officer

  • You have a relevant Higher Education or University Degree; preferably a degree in Business & IT, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Informatics or similar
  • You are proactive and capable to independently take charge of your responsibilities, but also able to work in a team environment
  • You have experience in delivering change programs, preferable within the insurance industry and within the field of Finance
  • You have affinity with IT, digitalization, data and other IT related trends that will influence the future Finance landscape
  • You are stress-resistant, get things done, and work punctual and precise
  • You are eager to learn and develop new skills in a steep learning environment
  • You are proactive and capable to independently take charge of your responsibilities, but also able to work in a team environment
  • You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English
