What impact will you have as Product Owner at NN?
As Product Owner, your focus will be on implementing a Data Integration Layer (DIL) aimed at achieving the better, forward-looking integration and exchange of data. Financial analysis is increasingly data-driven and so also requires increasingly accurate insights, which means that data from different applications needs to be centralised and accessible. The advent of new accounting standards, such as IFRS17, further demonstrates the need for such a project. You will begin by concentrating on the Finance and Risk department, but in the longer term, the DIL will also incorporate other operational and commercial data integration needs.
As Product Owner, it will be your task to coordinate the successful and timely implementation of the DIL, based on the Scaled Agile Framework methodology (SAFe). In doing so, you’ll be building a bridge between the Finance and IT departments. How? By providing the necessary business value and prioritisation. Plus you’ll be ensuring that the contents of the business features and the required deliverables are clear and you’ll also be guaranteeing a good balance between business features and IT features. In addition, you’ll facilitate the collaboration between the business analysts and the Agile team, in particular the refining process, the implementation of stories and defining the UAT methodology. You’ll work with the Agile Release Train development teams and Product Management in terms of development activities.
The following activities will come under your responsibility:

What do you have to offer as Product Owner?
Our ideal new Product Owner is hands-on, pragmatic and focused on solutions. You also have at least 10 years of relevant work experience to draw on, of which at least five have been in project management (according to Waterfall or Agile models).
