What impact will you have as Data Integration Engineer at NN?
You will join the IT Delivery team that designs, develops and runs all applications for NN Belgium. We do this 'Agile', so we work together faster and smarter. There is a lot of room for initiatives, and together we can achieve visible results in a challenging context.
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will work in the domain responsible for the maintenance and development of all Finance & Risk solutions within NN. In this area, we are working on our future architecture with the aim of simplifying the landscape and preparing it for the future.
The Data intergration engineer will shape and simplify new and existing data solutions into innovation and meaningful data products. You will work in a new and energetic team, where we will focus on 'getting things done'.
• You will help design, develop and continuously improve our Azure cloud platform in a DevOps, CI/CD and Agile way of working. The aim is to offer “automated data intelligence solutions” to the business.
• You support the onboarding of new data sources into our data solution and make sure they are compliant.
• Enable data quality set-up and provide this data via the publishing platform where data users can compile their reports.
• This is done with a focus on the continuity, scalability and security of our Azure cloud platform in a cost-effective way.
• You support in the pursuit of architectural consistency, security ccompliance and you apply standard blueprints, industry best practices and Azure native solutions & services.
• As developers and analysts, we work closely together in close collaboration with the internal data business teams.

What do you have to offer as Data Integration Engineer?
You have a passion for technology & data and actively participate in the team to achieve our goals. This is done in an agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are key.
- You have already taken your first steps in data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of English, with additional good knowledge of Dutch or French.
- Communication in this role is key, both to your teams and to your stakeholders.
- Collaboration, taking ownership and a positive drive motivate you.
- We greatly appreciate a hands-on approach.
- You have a good knowledge of Scala development or Python development
- Experience with Azure cloud platform and solutions such as Azure AD, Azure Devops, VNET, Subnet, App service, Network domain routing, Azure IaaS, PaaS and serverless application, ARM templates, Azure CLI and scripting.
- Experience with Azure Databricks/Azure Data Factory/Azure Integration Sevices, a plus is Azure Certification(s).
