You can apply for a job with us by clicking on the application button below the vacancy you are interested in. Complete the application form and upload your cover letter, CV and the results of the online Company Match test, if appropriate. We will confirm receipt of your documents as soon as we receive them. We will let you know whether we plan to invite you for an interview within two weeks.
When you apply for a job at NN, it is important for us to find out as much as we can about you and to establish how you as a person can add value to NN and our customers. It is also important that you get to know us, too, During the interviews, we are of course interested in your knowledge and experience, but perhaps even more so in who you are and what motivates you. In your application, we ask you to emphasise who you are, what makes you unique and how you plan to use your skills at NN. There is also enough scope for you to ask questions and to form a good picture of the job and NN as an employer. We aim to hold a maximum of two interviews, during which you will be introduced to the manager of the department, an immediate colleague and an NN recruiter. For management and highly specialist roles, a third interview is occasionally held.
For most vacancies, an online assessment is part of the application process. The assessment consists of a personality test, a motivational test and an intelligence test. Your personal qualities are very important to us and one purpose of the assessment is to test whether you have the NN Mindset we are looking for. You can complete the assessment in the comfort of your own home and will have direct access to the report. The results are always discussed during a one-to-one meeting with an NN recruiter. The assessment is generally used for the second interview.

Starting work at NN
To draw up an employment contact, a Pre Employment Screening (PES) is needed. The Financial Supervision Act requires a positive Pre Employment Screening outcome. A background check is performed on each new employee and references are checked. In addition, your employment with NN is subject to you submitting a Certificate of Good Conduct and taking the Oath/Pledge for the financial sector. By taking the Oath/Pledge, you declare that you put the customer first, carefully weigh up interests and that you handle information honestly and confidentially.
At NN we also expect you to adhere to our values of Care, Clear, Commit. These values are an important part of our identity and help us every day to act in an honest and respectful way in the interests of our customers. We therefore combine the Oath/Pledge with the NN statement of Living Our Values, which incorporates our values. By declaring that you will act in accordance with this NN statement, you are also taking the oath/pledge.
